The common question I get when it comes to jacha minerals, is where did the name come from. Well the name was created about 9 years ago when I was in College. There were five of us, Jolene, Angie(myself), Charlotte, Haley and Andrea. We decided one night, that we would call ourselves jacha, and would even go as far as get shirts made up with "jacha" written across the front. In addition, we even had a chant that we would do randomly through out the night "jacha who? jacha what? jaaaccchhhaa!" Unfortunately, we lost contact with Jolene, but the rest of has have kept the jacha traditions going ever since.
How you ask does this transform into the name of a professional makeup line? Well, if you met the four of us, you would know we have very different styles and personalities. That can also be transformed into our styles of makeup wearing. We all used to get ready together, and lay out all our different products, and everyone would have completely different makeup styles and product choices. I realized when I sat down to name my company, jacha would be a great name for it. Not only is it unique, but it symbolizes that even thought everyone has different styles and preferences when it comes to makeup, everyone should be able to use the same products line, and just recreate it to reflect them. Now when we get together, one thing is for sure, even though we all used different foundations from the line, and different shades of shadows and blushes, we all have makeup kits filled with jacha products!
