Eyeshadow Palate used on AMY

Because I do not have the best photography skills, I will wait to get a nice professional picture of this beautiful bride and post it soon. I had two different weddings to do Makeup for yesterday and the second wedding was an outdoor wedding backing onto the Mitchell Golf Course, it was an afternoon Ceremony and the setting was beautiful. Amy is a gorgeous redhead with a complexion filled with beautiful freckles and for those who know me well, this is my favorite complexion to do makeup on. Amy does not wear makeup often, and so we decided to just use a tinted moisturizer on her skin, to give it a little bit of a glow, but yet allow all her freckles to come through. This is becoming a big trend when it comes to makeup, a lot of brides are not wanting the full coverage looks that was popular in the past and are wanting just a very light foundation on their skin. We went a little darker on her eyes but stayed with the nice golden tones which compliments her skin type. We finished her look off with a simple liptint,to give her lips a bit of colour with the feel of a simple lip balm.
Bridesmaids and Mother of the Bride:

Amy had three bridesmaids in her wedding party, most of them not really makeup wearers so we kept the look quite natural. On Jill we used peach, purple and gold tones, and a medium coverage phototouch foundation. We also applied a little bit of the Sheer Veil to Jill's skin to give it a little bit of a glow.

Leona was also not someone who wore a lot of makeup so again we used a medium coverage Phototouch foundation, and kept it to soft golds and browns on the eyes. We just finished her look with a light Super Gloss on the lips.

Melissa was a more daring bridesmaid. She often wears makeup, so we played up her makeup a little bit more. She likes to wear green shadows so we did a smokey eye with green tones to bring out her eyes. Melissa also wanted a brighter lip as she is into that trend right now. Because we did a smokey eye, we went with a the LipTint in Sea Breeze as it gives your lips a nice tint, that's dramatic, yet soft enough to go with the boldness of a dark eye.

I have to say when it comes to wedding makeup, I absolutely love doing the mother of the bride. I think it is because most of the time they do not wear makeup and so even the lightest bit of makeup makes a dramatic change. Mother of the brides are usually the most hesitant to get their makeup done as well, so when they look great after and like the look its the biggest accomplishment. I just went for a light Sheer Tint foundation on Darlene's skin, to just even out tine skin tone and give her skin a healthy glow, while still letting her freckles come through. On her eyes I stuck to the brown tones in mostly matte colours, and used a brown liner that I then when over with a shadow to soften the look. On Darleen's lips I used a Luxury Lipgloss in Mauve Glow, which is my favorite colour to use on the mother of the bride as it seems to compliment most skin types. I also like the Luxury Gloss as it is still a pretty solid colour like a lipstick, but because it is a gloss it makes the lips appear fuller.
